The OA comes from creators Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij, the quirky indie team —she co-writes and stars, while he co-writes and directs— behind Sound of My Voice and The East. Neither film was a hit, but they're both smart, vaguely chilly movies composed of big ideas, a certain formal claustrophobia and, for me at least, resolutions that lack the confidence of their initial hooks. As befits the theme of both movies, they require the audience to infiltrate a foreign world and then they rely on a dose of Stockholm Syndrome to coast to the end. Hopefully, that's a good enough sense of the Marling/Batmanglij style for me to tell you that The OA plays as a long form continuation of their film work, even if you've never seen their movies. Supernatural is an incredibly long program, which already has twelve seasons, but each episode is intriguing and amazing. Each season has an incredible plot that will ultimately be to your liking if you like fiction, suspense and horror movies. The characters are very varied and do not stick to themselves giving a unique taste to the serie. The program has characters that will make you fall in love, this in case you are a woman but if you are a man it would be a bit strange but not bad, the series has characters that throughout the series are fully developed in a logical way. Each episode takes a different story than the previous one but this instead of making it bad makes it more interesting. It has several actors that you have probably met before in other programs or movies. One of them would be Lauren Cohan, known for her recurring roles on the television series, Chuck (2011) and The Vampire Diaries (2010-2012).
